Chinatown Community for Equitable Development

Chinatown Community for Equitable Development (CCED) is an all volunteer, multi-ethnic, intergenerational organization based in Los Angeles Chinatown that builds grassroots power through organizing, education, and mutual help. The graphic language was inspired by the works of Chinese calligrapher, Xu Bing, and his works combining Chinese and English. To showcase the duality and coming together of two very different cultures, a system of "icons" of CCED's core values were created.
